In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'. Loading the saves fixes the problem, but at least having information about the state of everything when the bug occurred could help in tracking down the cause.Įach save is a folder in the '.\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\\Savegames' folder. If encountered, please email a save made when it first occurs (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc) to with a brief description of which character was stuck and what was happening when it started (entering combat, etc).Įven better would be a save before it occurs, with a way (at least semi-reliably) to reproduce it, but so far nobody has reported a way to deliberately trigger this problem. Saves can be made during combat, so you don't have to flee and return, or get through the fight with just the remaining party members. Saving and reloading should restore control of the character. There is split screen co-op, when using 2 controllers (start / load a game in the controller UI, then have the other player press Options/Start on the second controller to select a profile and join in). This is a relatively rare issue, which seems to be much rarer than the previous version, but it has still been reported a couple times (there were fixes for this in the last update, but apparently not covering every possible cause). To play together on one divinity instance you need 2 controller. Character(s) can become stuck, unable to move or use skills, often when entering combat
